Drawing on its partners many decades of business and personal success, VVP is focused on finding and nurturing companies in a wide variety of markets including technology, esports and video gaming, digital content production, real estate and lifestyle brands in food and beverage. Through the principals’ experience, relationships and access to capital, VVP provides its operating companies with a proven recipe for long term success – hire the right people, develop a compelling product or service, execute an aggressive go-to-market strategy and efficiently deploy capital to grow and capture a leadership position in the market. With knowledge, contacts, and processes gained over many years at SBV, Raizada sees various opportunities in this space. Timing, relationships, discipline, and accountability will serve as the guiding principles for this area of the firm.
VVP is not just an investment house, but also a business with a societal purpose. Recognizing the principals good fortune over the years and the vast amounts of support and guidance they received from many around them, they are determined to give back. Raizada helped initiate Vision Global Foundation, the philanthropic arm of VVP, which commits 10% of the company’s net income and 10% of the employees’ time. Vision Global Foundation has partnered with The Orphaned Starfish Foundation, focused on addressing the challenges facing orphans, victims of abuse and at-risk youth by providing permanent, on the ground, programs in every country they enter.
Raizada is a lifelong philanthropist with a devout passion for giving back to the community, and Vision Global Foundation is only his latest philanthropic endeavor. His family’s generous gift helped the University of Kansas Hospital acquire MediGuide technology, which provides cardiologists with unprecedented views of the heart with minimal exposure to radiation.
